I’m Holly Lark, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping teens and adults navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strength. I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, emotional struggles, and identity exploration. As an advocate for the LGBTIA+ community and a multiculturally sensitive therapist, I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for all.

My Approach

I’m the kind of therapist who is real with you, in the best way. I ask the questions that cut through the noise and get to the heart of what actually matters. I care about unpacking the why behind the struggles you come to therapy with. I also know when to pause the deep dive and just be human together. I’m curious, direct, warm, and easy to connect with. So whether we’re unpacking the hard stuff or calling out the patterns that keep tripping you up, you won’t be doing it alone.

Compassionate, Collaborative, and Centered on You

Therapy with me is a place where you can just be yourself; no pressure to have the right words or everything figured out. We’ll move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, which means I see your struggles as understandable responses to what you’ve been through. Together, we’ll build awareness, self-trust, and new ways of relating that feel safer and more supportive. You will leave sessions feeling seen, understood, and more in tune with yourself.

How I Work

Blending Insight with Practical Tools

I use evidence-based approaches to help you explore deep-rooted patterns, understand how your past shapes your present, and create meaningful change:

  • Somatic Therapy – Helps regulate emotions and calm the nervous system by tuning into bodily sensations and stored experiences.

  • Psychodynamic Therapy – Uncovers unconscious patterns, explores childhood influences, and connects past experiences to present behaviors.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Identifies and integrates different parts of yourself to heal emotional wounds and foster self-awareness.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Builds skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindful decision-making.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps reframe negative thought patterns, shift behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Mind-Body Connection

Supporting the Whole You
Healing involves both mind and body. Through somatic techniques and deep exploratory work, we’ll uncover how your history shapes how you show up with yourself and others. Therapy is a space to process emotions, recognize patterns, and move toward lasting transformation.

Less Formally

I am a “live your life to the fullest” person. Work hard, play hard is my motto. I truly LOVE my job, but life outside of work is important too! When I’m not in session, you can find me hanging out at the beach with my 100-pound Sheepadoodle, moving my body through yoga or a long run, getting lost in a really good book, obsessing over Formula 1, or planning my next exciting travel adventure.

I value balance, curiosity, and connection in my own life. Those same values shape how I show up in my work as a therapist. I believe growth happens both in the quiet, reflective moments and in the brave steps we take outside our comfort zone. Being a therapist isn’t just what I do; it’s an essential part of who I am.  My commitment to mental health extends far beyond the therapy room into how I live, connect, and show up in the world.
